Hey guys! I’m Chelsea, the face and brain behind Mugs and Makeup. I’m a wife, self-taught makeup doer, Intuitive Eater (in training), drinker of many hot beverages, baker of bread, and part time computer programmer. Writing is one of my many passions!
Here are a few fun little tidbits about me.
- Huge reader here. I’m constantly reading something. I also have a habit of constantly rereading the same things. Whoops.
- I cannot keep plants alive to save my life. I’ve got a black thumb, no matter how much I wish I could keep them alive.
- My husband and I have known each other our whole lives. We started dating when I was 16 and have been together ever since!

- INFJ, ladies and gents.
- I taught myself how to do glam makeup so that I could do my own wedding makeup
- If I was a superhero, I’d probably be the Tom Holland’s “Friendly, Neighborhood Spiderman.” Awkward, silly, geeky, and really just trying to help even though it doesn’t always go as planned.
- My dog and I are besties for sure.
- I am DEATHLY afraid of crickets.
